Season 2012/13 and Britains got Skiers
This season there has been a lot of ups and downs for me due to tendon and ligament damage in both my knees after a powder trip to Flachauwinkl, Austria in February. Lets just say riding waist deep powder in centre mounted park skis isn't the best for knees!
After that I made a lot of trips to the physio and took few weeks rest. When they began to feel better I went to Meribel with the GB junior freeski team as a pre-British championships camp. Meribel had such a sick park with a pro line of 3 booters, which was perfect practice for slopestyle. There, I worked on my switch off big kickers for the first time, and by the end of the week got down switch 9 mutes and span two switch 10 mutes which you can see in my edit.
Screenshot of my switch 9 mute in Meribel.
Blind 450 out of the elbow rail under the matterhorn in Zermatt.
This Summer, I went to to Cervinia/Zermatt with the gb junior freeski team again where we had a sick park and sunny weather for 2 weeks! The rails there were insane and the laptime was so short we got so many hits. I did an 810 and a misty 450 japan off the canon rail. On the jumps i worked on unnatural cork 7's and got the feel for more double cork 10's which you can see also in my edit.
Go check out my BGS/season edit and give it a share or a like!
Cheers,
Harris
