Read moreWe're wholeheartedly committed to the people and planet that we love. Our staff, partners, atheletes and customers have made Planks what it is today. We are constantly exploring ways to lessen our environmental impact, whilst continuing to give back to the skiing community.
Our “No Skiing on Mars” capsule collection is a collaboration between Protect Our Winters UK (POW) and Planks Clothing. We donate 25% of gross margin from No Skiing on Mars product sales to Protect Our Winters. This donation will fund POW’s Carbon Literacy program, which changes individual’s and business’ carbon consumption for the better. Through sales of this limited collection, made from recycled fabrics, we have already raised over £4000.
"POW UK is stoked that Planks are helping us to educate our outdoor community about climate change and how it impacts us and our lifestyles. Through their No Skiing On Mars collection Planks are the largest individual contributor to our Carbon Literacy Training programme helping us train over 180 people this year. If you believe in protecting the places we love from climate change and want to gain the confidence and skills required to effect change at the individual, community and policy level then sign up to a course today. Join the movement and harness your connection to wild places as a force for positive change!"

We are proud partners of Snow Camp, a charity that's been supporting young people's futures and wellbeing through skiing since 2003.
"At Snow Camp, we take young people's mental health very seriously. The young people that we work with come from all kinds of backgrounds, and many of them don’t have support networks in place to help them when they need it the most.
As we continue to grow, we are taking additional steps to ensure that every young person who joins Snow Camp has the support they need around mental health. Which is why we have introduced a team of wellbeing managers onto all of our courses across the UK in the last year, who are on hand to offer guidance and counselling to all young people that come on the Snow Camp journey with us.
We are grateful for all of the support we have received over the years from Planks, and every donation, no matter how big or small, makes a difference to the lives of the young people we work with.”

We're stoked to have such an amazing collection of humans on the Planks athlete team.
Each of our athletes embodies our brand values and shares our love for the people and planet.
In the early 90s a dry ski slope in Stoke-on-Trent was the centre of my universe. We made the best of what we had; brush matting, a sketchy jump and traffic cones to ski around. We wore tracksuit bottoms and gardening gloves. Our skis were straight and our boots were old. We were skint, so we did odd jobs on the slope so that we could ski for free. I was there for every spare minute. I had one goal, to get good at skiing.
Fast forward to 2008. After years of pot washing and skiing adventures across the world, I felt there was a need for a brand that supported freeskiing. So, with a total lack of business knowledge but an unhealthy obsession for skiing, Planks was born.
