Skiing for Wellbeing ❤️ Snow Camp

Today is World Suicide Prevention Day. It's not the cheeriest subject for your Saturday, but we believe it's a very important one. Don't forget to look out for your pals and speak out if you're not feeling yourself. ❤️

At Planks we are proud partners of Snow Camp, a charity that's been supporting young people's futures and wellbeing through skiing since 2003.

We spoke to Snow Camp's Founder and Managing Director, Dan Charlish, to find out more about how they are supporting young people.

"At Snow Camp, we take young people's mental health very seriously. The young people that we work with come from all kinds of backgrounds, and many of them don’t have support networks in place to help them when they need it the most.

As we continue to grow, we are taking additional steps to ensure that every young person who joins Snow Camp has the support they need around mental health. Which is why we have introduced a team of wellbeing managers onto all of our courses across the UK in the last year, who are on hand to offer guidance and counselling to all young people that come on the Snow Camp journey with us.

We are grateful for all of the support we have received over the years from Planks, and every donation, no matter how big or small, makes a difference to the lives of the young people we work with.”
