Introducing New Horizons
Our popular Freshtracks trips focus on progression and we have spent decades taking thousands of skiers and snowboarders into the mountains to discover their first powder lines or level up their piste carving. Building on the success of Freshtracks holidays, the team have cherry-picked a new line of holidays for younger people called New Horizons. They invite you progress your skiing and snowboarding alongside like-minded people who share your ability, whilst exploring incredible resorts. Using the Ski Club’s years of experience, extensive local knowledge, network of top-class instructors and passion for all things snowy, we want to bring you the most memorable and action-packed itineraries possible in the world’s best resorts such as Val D’Isère and Chamonix. Stay Safe with Us
We are the first to say that getting out into the mountain is a great idea… but it can also be dangerous. This season safety is a particular area of focus for us and to help skiers and snowboarders get to grips with the risks, we have launched a comprehensive mountain safety programme including talks and courses both in the UK and abroad. Before travelling to the mountains, it is important to make sure you are informed about the potential risks. You can find lot of helpful hints and tips on equipment such as transceivers, probes and shovels, on our website. Along with familiarising yourself with the equipment, it is essential that you prepare for the worst by purchasing insurance to cover your activity in case of emergency. Ski Club insurance is market leading and can even cover you off piste without a guide (although this is not advisable.) Better safe than sorry!
WIN a Ski Holiday
This season the Ski Club of Great Britain has teamed up with Planks Clothing and SunGod to take you to the mountains! Enter our competition to win an all-inclusive week-long New Horizons holiday to Val-D’Isère plus a €500 Planks shopping spree, SunGod custom goggles and sunglasses and a Ski Club of Great Britain membership for a year, all worth up to a mega £2000!
The winner will join us in the French mountains from 1st – 8th February 2020. The trip builds on the success of last year’s sold-out adventure and includes five days off piste instruction with local expert instructors, seven nights of great accommodation at Chalet Lores in the heart of town plus the company of a highly experienced Ski Club Rep, flights and transfers. The resort itself is world class and the perfect place to improve your off piste skills, with plenty of opportunity for après too!
The competition opens on 23rd December 2019 and you have two weeks to enter for a chance to win the £2,000 bundle – the closing date is Monday 6th January 2019.
