The Wasters Project

In a bid to be less wasteful, our design team went loco with a stash of deadstock recycled fabrics. Like every piece of Planks outerwear, this limited haul of garments is built to withstand harsh mountain weather and feel comfortable from the first coffee of the day to the last après drink. Every fabric is RIDEdry10 specification, meaning its highly breathable and waterproof, with a solvent-free DWR coating. The seams are taped and there’s zip-close stash pockets for your essentials. Simply put, this outerwear is as good as it looks.

We have a great range of rider-tested and approved ski pants, bibs pants, shred trousers or whatever you call them. Our ski pants are insulated, comfortable and waterproof. Planks' colours and series

Our outerwear is split into series. However, fear not, no matter the series, all of our gear is waterproof and breathable, two things which are crucial for skiwear. We have a whole range of colours and patterns. Looking for something more subtle? We’ve got black, grey, army green or navy. Feeling bold? Why not go for petrol blue, fluoro lime, purple, orange, indigo, or even a monochrome animal print!

If you’re a backcountry fanatic who enjoys ski touring and earning their turns, our Yeti Series for you. The Yeti Series is a collection of 3-layer shell apparel designed for serious freeride skiers. With fully taped seams, the recycled 2-way stretch fabric is bonded to Planks’ most waterproof and breathable 20k/20k membrane for maximum performance. 

The Good Times Series is robust and versatile; it is designed to take whatever you or the mountains can throw at it, time after time. It’s our bestselling series year after year. This is comfort-focused outerwear for long ski days. A level up from the Shred Series in terms of features, Good Times apparel has highly waterproof, breathable and recycled 15k/15k fabrics. Combine that with toasty warm midweight insulation, fully taped seams, and waterproof exposed zips and you're ready for the hill! Regular fits across the series offer enough room to add extra layers and still feel free skiing. There’s mesh-lined venting to cool you down and keep the snow out too. These jackets and pants are packed with everything you’ll ever need for maximum good times in the mountains! 

Next up we’ve got the Shred Series. Home to bold styles and essential features, the Shred Series puts the “fun” into functional. Animal print, hot red, powder pink - pick your colour or print and go shred. Created for the daily shredder, every piece of outerwear features Planks’ recycled RIDEdry10 fabric and taped seams to keep you dry and comfortable for a full day’s riding. There are zip- close stash pockets for your phone, Rizlas, car keys and cold fingers, in every jacket, pant and riding hoodie. Fit, venting features and insulation weights vary by style, so first choose the look, then check the specs. The Shred Series works better the more upside down you go. 

Planks' layers and streetwear

It doesn’t stop at skierwear, we’ve also got an awesome range of men's streetwear. This includes our super-cozy mid-layers and fleeces, which keep all that hard-earned body heat locked in tight with the recycled Polartec fleecing. All of our new streetwear is made with GOTS certified organic cotton, as opposed to regular cotton. Organic cotton organic cotton production is kinder to the environment, ecosystems and to those who farm it. It’s grown from natural seeds, is less water-intensive to grow and no harmful chemicals are used. Our pull-over hoodies, short-sleeve t-shirts and long-sleeve t-shirts are super comfy and ideal for chill-wear or even for Spring riding sessions. You’re a skier, so let them know.
