IF3 London
A couple of weeks ago The International Freeski Film Festival, IF3 arrived in London with a selection of this years top ski films and a whole host of stars to introduce them. The event was held at the Clapham Grand and included a packed line up of new films, prizes to be won and signing sessions with the riders.
Add in a few games of beer pong and a whole load of other drink promotions and you've got an awesome but easily forgettable night of freeski fun.
Planks has always had a huge presence at the event and this year was no different. Team rider Neil Williman was on stage all night helping to host proceedings and managed to keep the crowd entertained right through until the final applause.
Mike Rowlands was also there and he helped to kick off proceedings by introducing his part in Misconceptions the new British film from Perspective Studios, before heading to sign some posters for adoring fans.
Andy Parry also took a night off from his Tell A Friend Tour to promote Fried Lice, the first of three Travelling Circus mini movies that are coming out this year. The film follows the crew as they travel through Japan & South Korea and also includes team rider Leo Taillefer.
The crowd were cheering right through until the end of the show and once the movies were finished the seats were packed away and the beer pong tables were quickly brought in to replace them. The music started to crank and everyone got to work on their Friday hangovers.
Hugh thanks to Emily Milns & Sub Zero Events for organising the whole thing, I'm sure it will be back bigger and better than ever next year so make sure you're there!
